In a future soon to be here young Sophia Lambreghetti thinks she has found just the person to join her in a happy married life, including having multiple babies. But she soon finds she was badly mistaken. While frantically escaping an attack by a man bent on killing her she falls into an underground resistance movement dedicated to extracting Humans from the oppression of an evil rogue Artificial Intelligence that has gone horribly wrong. She soon realizes she has joined a complex group of characters, including a fallen billionaire; a former assassin; and a woman and her partner who live on a boat. They have built a harnessed artificial intelligence they hope to pit against the oppressor in a good vs evil final solution. Although this story has all the elements of an adventure thriller, it is really a story about these individuals and their struggles to navigate their relationships and their personal identities.
